Sumpter Named CAA Co-Rookie Of the Week

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth softball freshman Carah Sumpter was named the CAA Co-Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Sumpter earns her first career CAA honor after leading the Hawks to a 3-0 weekend sweep over Towson, the team's first conference sweep of the season. She turned in an outstanding performance, tallying four hits, including a home run, and driving in two RBIs.
