Wichmann shoves on the mound as Mustangs take series from Jamestown
MARSHALL, Minn. – Behind a dominant performance on the mound by Cody Wichmann , the Southwest Minnesota State baseball team (18-23, 8-21 NSIC) defeated the Jamestown Jimmies (12-27, 7-19 NSIC) Monday afternoon 10-0 in seven innings, winning the series 2-1. Wichmann (3-2) pitched all seven scoreless innings for the Mustangs allowing just three hits and three walks, while striking out a career-high nine batters.
