Hamilton, Kamas to play at 2026 IIHF U18 Men’s World Championship

RED DEER - Two members of the Red Deer Rebels are set to represent their countries at the 2026 IIHF U18 Men’s World Championship in Slovakia. Forward Beckett Hamilton has been named to Canada's final roster for the tournament, while defenceman Jiří Kamas will play for Czechia. Hamilton (Humboldt, SK) led the Rebels with 62 points in 67 games in 2025-26 and was named the club’s Most Valuable Player. He took part in the WHL Prospects Game in February.
