Men’s golf concludes ODAC Championships

AMHERST, Va. – Averett University men’s golf finished the ODAC Championships in eighth place after round three at Poplar Grove Golf Club on Tuesday. The Cougars’ final score was 75-over-par 864. Freshman Chase Myers recorded his fourth top-10 finish of the season, as he tied for eighth following a four-over round. Myers made four birdies, and scored 14-over for the tournament. Freshman Lukas Newton went three-over in the final round, Averett’s best, and rose up three spots to tie for 25th at 20-over. Sophomore Zach Alway s finished in 35th at 26-over par.
