War Hawks Fire 320 in Round Two to Hold Fourth at SCAC Championships

WESTWORTH VILLAGE, TX – McMurry’s women’s golf team holds onto fourth place after the second round of the SCAC Championship on Monday afternoon at the par-72, Hawks Creek Golf Club. The War Hawks improved 15 shots in the second round and finished with a 335-320—655 total. LeTourneau led the tournament with a 311-310—621 total by 19 shots over second-place St. Thomas (TX). Schreiner was third at 649. McMurry beat Centenary by 22 shots and was 30 shots better than sixth-place Concordia (TX). Katelyn Henslee led the War Hawks with a 77-79—156. She finished tied for fifth in the tournament field.…
