Fair Named to NCBWA Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis closer Carson Fair was one of 61 players named to the 2026 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Midseason Stopper of the Year Watch List, the NCBWA announced Wednesday. Fair, a junior from Southaven, Miss., carries a 3.50 ERA and a 1-0 record thus far this season. In 18.0 innings pitched Fair has recorded eight saves, 19 strikeouts, posted a 1.17 WHIP and .180 batting average against.
