Lila O’Brien Named ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– Sophomore Lila O’Brien was named ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday. O’Brien helped guide the Irish to an 18-3 win over Louisville, holding the Cardinals to a season-low three goals, tying their lowest output of the year (vs. No. 1 North Carolina). O’Brien wreaked havoc on the defensive end, tying her career-high six caused turnovers while also grabbing three ground balls.
