Men’s Tennis: Scots Battle Back to Beat Hamline, 5-2

ST. PAUL, Minn. – After dropping the doubles point, the Macalester College men’s tennis team won five of the six singles matches to defeat Hamline University, 5-2 Wednesday afternoon at Hayden Tennis Courts. The Scots improve to 9-9 overall and 3-4 in the MIAC, while the Pipers fall to 4-13, 1-6 MIAC. In doubles play, Macalester’s No. 3 doubles tandem of sophomore Beckett Annes (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) and Zach Dajani (Singapore/Singapore American School) won their match against Samuel Siegel and Wesley Saunders, 6-2. But Hamline was able to win the other two doubles matches to take the doubles point.…
