Strong Final Round Pushes McMurry to Third at SCAC Championships

WESTWORTH VILLAGE, TX – McMurry’s women’s golf team placed third at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship Tournament on April 20 at the par-72, Hawks Creek Golf Course. The War Hawks improved 15 shots in the second round and finished with a 335-320-153—808 total after the third round was shortened due to rain. LeTourneau won the tournament with a 772 total, finishing 31 shots ahead of second-place St. Thomas (TX).
