Women’s Lacrosse Utilizes Second Half Burst to Down Eastern
WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – Senior attack Madison Ratchford (Ridge, N.Y.) ripped seven goals while junior midfielder Isabella Pota (East Meadow, N.Y.) chipped in with four scoring strikes and one assist as the Western Connecticut State University women’s lacrosse squad erupted in the second half to blow by Eastern Connecticut, 17-6, Wednesday evening at Rick McCarthy Field. Three other Wolves contributed two goals apiece, while Alexa Vizzini paced the Warriors with a hat trick and one helper.
