Women’s Track & Field’s Calvo-Jorge Named NEC Track Athlete of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Wagner junior Magui Calvo-Jorge has been named NEC Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at the IC4A/ECAC Championships, the conference office announced on Wednesday. As an individual, Calvo-Jorge logged a 2:16.28 time in the 800m run to finish 11th in a field of 35, then competed with the 4x800 relay team as well. The Seahawks' relay placed seventh of 12 teams with a 9:33.35 time. This is the junior's second time earning NEC Track Athlete of the Week in 2026, also getting the nod in late January for winning the 800m run at Columbia's Dr....
