Falcons Fall to Bullets in Slugfest
GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Messiah Softball team was in action today for their final home game of the regular season as they welcomed the Bullets of Gettysburg College to town for a single game. In what became a slugfest, the Bullets scored eight runs in the first two innings, but the Falcons came back to take a 9-8 lead. After Gettysburg retook the lead, Rebekah Wiley hit a two-run homerun to give the Falcons a 12-11 lead in the fifth. However, Gettysburg would score two runs in the sixth and hold on to win 13-12.
