Men’s Tennis Advances to PAC Championship With 4-0 Win vs. W&J

MEAVILLE, Pa. — The top-seeded and 67th-ranked Allegheny College men’s tennis team punched its ticket to its fourth consecutive Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) championship match with a 4-0 victory over Washington and Jefferson College in the semifinals on Thursday afternoon. The Gators (16-7) needed less than an hour to defeat the fourth-seeded Presidents (6-12), less than a week after shutting out W&J in the regular-season finale. The top two doubles matches both ended with 6-0 scores, while two of the three singles matches played to completion ended in 6-0, 6-0 straight-set wins.
