Nan Garcia Joins Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- A face familiar to new Morehead State women's basketball head coach Jackie Alexander will be reuniting with her. Nan Garcia, who Alexander coached while at Toledo, has joined the Eagle staff as assistant coach. Garcia, a native of Jeffersonville, Ind., (near Louisville) comes to Morehead State after one season on the staff at the University of Albany. She served as the Great Danes' director of operations as well. Garcia opened her collegiate playing career at Penn State before playing four seasons at Toledo.
