Nelson Sets New Program Mark in Hammer Throw as Prairie Fire Shine in Monmouth

Knox College track and field had a strong night at the Monmouth Thursday Twilight Meet, highlighted by thrower Stephanie Nelson’s historic performance. Nelson set a new program record in the hammer throw, with a personal-best distance of 47.18 meters (154 feet, nine inches).
