Rhode Island Guard, And Louisville Native, To Transfer To EKU
RICHMOND, Ky. – Louisville native Damone King, who spent the past two seasons at the University of Rhode Island, has signed to play basketball at Eastern Kentucky University. The 6-foot-2 guard played in 22 games and averaged 2.3 points while shooting 40% from the field at Rhode Island this past season. King scored a season-best 12 points against Northeastern. He redshirted at URI during the 2024-25 season. "Damone is an extremely talented guard who brings size and experience to our backcourt," Head Coach A.W. Hamilton said.
