Trio of Nighthawks Earn All-Conference Honors; Stokusova Named Freshman of the Year

DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia (UNG) women’s tennis team placed three student athletes on the 2026 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) All-Conference teams, highlighted by Olesya Stokusova earning Freshman of the Year honors, the league office announced Thursday. Postseason awards are nominated and voted on by the conference’s head coaches. Stokusova becomes the first Nighthawk in program history to be named PBC Freshman of the Year and just the second North Georgia player to earn a major conference award, joining Angelina Linnikova, who was named Player of the Year in 2025.
