Women’s Track & Field Sweeps NEWMAC Weekly Honors

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — The MIT women’s track and field team swept the NEWMAC Women’s Track and Field Weekly Honors for the week ending April 19, 2026. Hailey Surace was named the Field Athlete of the Week, Kate Sanderson earned Track Athlete of the Week and MIT’s 4x 400m Relay of Madeline Hon, Erin Hovendon, Krystal Montgomery and Shreya Kalyan earned Relay of the Week honors. Surace won the pole vault at MIT’s own Sean Collier Invitational on Saturday, posting the top mark in the region this season by clearing 3.92m (12’10.25″).
