Cards Advance to Match Play at 2026 ACC Championship
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Golf Championships by finishing in seventh place Saturday at Shark's Tooth Golf Club in Panama City, Beach, Fla. The Cardinals finished at 2-over-par for the tournament, shooting an 866 (290-283=293) to advance for the first time in program history. Warren Thomis shot a final round score of 73 to finish in a tie for eight place during stroke play. For the tournament, the native of Richmond, Ky., shot a 4-under-par, carding rounds of 72-67-73.
