LocalSportsJournal.com The Fremont baseball team split a twin bill with Holland Christian on Friday. The Packers squeezed out a 3-2 victory in the opening game but dropped the nightcap 15-1. Chase Mercer’s sacrifice fly in the seventh inning lifted Fremont in Game 1. Mercer led on the mound as he gave up five hits and two runs while Colten Brown came in as relief.
