‘Friday Night Lights’ for final tuneup
MEADVILLE, Pa. — The Grove City College men’s track and field team made its final preparations for next week’s Presidents’ Athletic Conference Championships by competing Friday night at Allegheny College’s Marty Goldberg Invitational, held at Frank B. Fuhrer Field. Freshman Caleb Hina (Murphy, N.C./Carolina Mountain) helped lead Grove City at the unscored meet by winning the 5000 meters. Hina posted a time of 16 minutes, 39.86 seconds to win the event. Senior Ethan Wiley (Mercer, Pa./Mercer) paced Grove City’s field performers by taking second in the javelin.
