Grinnell runners make a mark on leader board at Kip Janvrin Open

Results INDIANOLA, Iowa – Grinnell College’s men’s track and field leader board saw substantial shuffling at the Kip Janvrin Open hosted by Simpson College Friday. Ben Abelow ’28 took 10th in the 5000-meter run, competing among a loaded field from all levels of NCAA as well as NAIA, with a time of 14 minutes, 43.46 seconds. That time ranks third in GC history and is just 2.26 seconds off the school record.
