Luther Claims Outrightg A-R-C Title – Sweeps Simpson 11-6, 13-3 (7) This Afternnoon

The Luther College baseball team won the outright American Rivers Conference championship after sweeping Simpson College this afternoon 11-6, 13-3 (7). The conference title was the first for the Norse under the direction of Head Coach Bryan Nikkel and 14th in school history as a member of the Iowa Conference/American Rivers Conference. During today’s double header, the Norse tallied 24 runs on 22 hits that included six home runs. Luther will also be the No. 1 seed for the A-R-C six team tournament that will be held May 7-9 in Cedar Rapis, Iowa at Veterans Memorial Stadium. In game one…
