Luther Defeats Coe 4-3 – Wins A-R-C Tournament Title – Secures Berth to NCAA III Championships

The Lurther College women’s tennis team, ranked No. 72 by the ITA in the NCAA III, secured its 19th appearance in the National Championships this afternoon in the Valley. The Norse hosted No. 61 Coe College in the title match of the A-R-C Tournament and defeated the Kohawks 4-3. The two teams entered the match winners of 11 A-R-C Tournament titles each, and Luther won its 12th and last, as the Norse will become members of the Midwest Conference on July 1 of this year.
