Men’s lacrosse secures top seed in NAC playoffs with road win over Husson
BANGOR, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy men’s lacrosse team put together a dominant team performance on Saturday paced by an 8-0 third-quarter run to defeat Husson University 16-7 on the road and secure both home-field advantage and the top seed in the NAC tournament. Maine Maritime (9-5, 5-0 NAC) opened Saturday’s conference winner-take-all showdown against Husson (10-4, 4-1 NAC) with a 4-1 opening-quarter run, paced by two goals each from freshman Ryan Parent and sophomore Tobey Lappin.
