SB: Cowgirls Win Opening Game Of SLC Series at East Texas A&M; Game 2 Postponed to Saturday

COMMERCE, Texas-- McNeese softball opened its series at East Texas A&M with a 13-5 rune-rule win and held a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning of the nightcap before the game was postponed due to lightning delays. Friday's second game will resume at 11 a.m. Saturday morning with the series finale set to start 30 minutes following. McNeese (33-18, 16-9 SLC) scored 13 runs on 13 in the opening game.
