Tigers Offense Cold in Game Two of LMU Series
LOS ANGELES – Pacific could not solve the LMU’s pitching attack and as a result took an 8-0 defeat Saturday afternoon at Smith Field. Senior Jordan Hayes had the best night of the Tigers (16-31, 4-10 WCC), reaching twice via a single and walk. Freshman Kelly Whelihan also drew a walk to round out Pacific’s baserunning threats on the afternoon. An error in the third inning against LMU (30-15, 7-4 WCC) gave the Tigers two on with one out but could not make anything of the chance and never threatened the rest of the game.
