Track & Field Has Strong Showing in Waco

WACO, Texas — The UNT track and field team competed at the Michael Johnson Invitational at Baylor on Friday and Saturday and came away with three event wins and a pair of new program records for junior sprinter Aariyana Williams . Williams continues to leave her mark on the program record book after she set new marks in both the women’s 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash, the latter of which was broken by nearly a full second and had previously stood for seven years. Williams finished fourth in the 200 on Friday in 23.43 to set a new program record.…
