Warhawk Baseball Take Two over UWRF To Open WIAC Series
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team took two wins over UW-River Falls in the Saturday doubleheader to open up the four-game series. The Warhawks host the Falcons on Prucha Field for the first time since 2002. The Warhawk pitchers highlighted the day, with both starting shutout outings in the wins. In game one, Gradin Taschner (Neenah, Wis./Neenah) went 8.0 innings, fanning nine without allowing a single run.
