Gavin Ortega signs as free agent with Denver Broncos

Gavin Ortega will get his opportunity in the NFL. Ortega has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos, following the 2026 NFL Draft. Ortega, a native of Bellingham, Washington, signed at Weber State in December 2021. He played four seasons with the Wildcats from 2022-25. He earned All-America honors as a senior in 2025 and was a two-time All-Big Sky selection.
