Men’s Golf sits seventh after opening round of A-R-C Championships

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Coe College men’s golf team opened the 2026 American Rivers Conference Championships Sunday afternoon at Glen Oaks Country Club, playing the first 18 holes of the three-day tournament. The Kohawk men were led by freshman Mitchell Katz, who posted an opening round score of three-over par, 74. Katz had a trio of birdies on the round, making two on the front nine and one on the back for an even-par 36.
