Pomeroys Sit Tied for Seventh After Round One of RSC Championships
By: Ace Hunt DANIELS, W.Va. — The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's golf team opened competition at the River States Conference Championships on Sunday, sitting tied for seventh place after the first of three rounds at The Resort at Glade Springs, a par 72, 6,898-yard layout, hosted by West Virginia Tech. The Pomeroys posted a team score of 326 in round one, tying IU Southeast and positioning themselves in the middle of a competitive field with two rounds still to play.
