Prairie Fire Drop Sunday Game at Illinois College
The Knox College baseball team dropped a Sunday afternoon contest at Illinois College, falling 12-2 in seven innings. The Prairie Fire are next at home on Wednesday, taking on Eureka in the regular-season home finale. Knox (5-31, 3-15) trailed 5-0 after five innings, but in the sixth, the squad was able to score, plating a pair of runs. Tyler Thiem singled home, Aidan McMurtrie, and Buckie Zamora.
