Softball Sweeps SAA Doubleheader Against Millsaps

SAN ANTONIO – The Trinity softball team swept a Southern Athletic Association doubleheader from Millsaps College (MS) on Saturday, winning 4-1 and 5-0 to ensure the weekend series win. The Tigers (25-8-1, 14-3, SAA) gave up just one run on seven hits across the two games against the Majors (21-13, 7-7 SAA) today. Millsaps scored what turned out to be its only run of the day in the third inning of game one, but Trinity scored all four of its runs in the fourth to take game one.
