St. John’s Falls to Xavier in Series Finale, 16-6
CINCINNATI – The St. John's baseball team fell in the series finale against Xavier,16-6, in seven innings on Sunday afternoon at Hayden Field. Despite jumping out to an early lead, the Red Storm (23-20, 9-3 BIG EAST) fell victim to the Musketeers long ball. The Johnnies won the first two games of the three-game set, marking four straight series victories to open conference play.
