Aven’s three homers earn final NWC Athlete of the Week award

Continuing to lead the nation in home runs and runs batted in, Linfield softball senior catcher Ashlyn Aven earned yet another Northwest Conference Softball Athlete of the Week honor. Aven continues to crush the ball, hitting three home runs and a double to lead the Wildcats to a series sweep over Puget Sound in the final regular-season series of the year. She went 7-11 at the dish, scoring seven runs and driving in six, while being walked twice.
