Baseball’s Alagheband Earns Ivy League Pitcher of the Week Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University baseball sophomore left-handed pitcher Luca Alagheband has won Ivy League Pitcher of the Week honors for the first time in his career, the Ivy League conference office announced on Monday afternoon. Alagheband posted a 0.84 ERA over 10.2 innings pitched last week, allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks with 12 strikeouts and holding opponents to a .128 average.
