Hallam, Collins honored

GROVE CITY, Pa. — Two Grove City College lacrosse players earned weekly recognition Monday afternoon from the Presidents’ Athletic Conference after their respective performances last week. On the women’s side, freshman defender Gabri Hallam (Buffalo, N.Y./Clarence) captured Defensive Player of the Week distinction. Meanwhile, freshman midfielder Brock Collins (Butler, Pa./Butler) is this week’s Newcomer of the Week in men’s lacrosse. Hallam set a single-game Grove City record by causing 10 turnovers last Wednesday night in Grove City’s 18-8 home win over Otterbein at Robert E. Thorn Field.
