Mariscal Earns First Career ASUN Player of the Week Honor
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After a standout weekend against Bellarmine, Emily Mariscal was named ASUN Player of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon. Following a game one loss to the Knights, Mariscal helped power the Colonels to back-to-back wins to claim the series. Mariscal paced EKU at the plate, hitting .833 while posting three RBIs, one double, and one triple. She also recorded a 1.333 slugging percentage and an .857 on-base percentage during the series.
