Eaton Earns Athlete of the Week Honors After Winning the Heptathlon | NCAC Athletes of the Week April 28 | Sophomore Cayla Eaton (North Lewisburg, OH/Triad) topped the heptathlon field at the NCAC Outdoor Track and Field Combined Championships over the weekend, totaling 4,263 points and setting personal bests in the 100-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash and 800-meter run. She won four individual events, including the 100-meter hurdles (15.21), high jump (1.57m), long jump (5.08m) and javelin (31.11m), and added a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash (27.20), fourth in the shot put (8.32m) and fifth in the 800-meter run (2:41.62).
