Eric Rascoe Selected Sixth Overall by Calgary Stampeders in CFL Canadian Draft

TORONTO, Ontario, Canada – Former Angelo State standout linebacker Eric Rascoe was selected sixth overall by the Calgary Stampeders in the 2026 CFL Draft on Tuesday. A native of San Antonio, Rascoe began his collegiate career as a defensive back before transitioning to linebacker in 2022. He appeared in 48 games over five seasons in the Blue and Gold, earning First Team All-Lone Star Conference honors three times.
