Baseball: Choctaws Slotted Sixth in South Region

CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College baseball has earned the No. 6 seed in the NCAA Division II South Region baseball rankings, the organization announced on Wednesday, April 29. The Choctaws carry a 27-22 overall record, including a 24-21 mark against regional competition, into postseason consideration. The South Region features a deep 10-team field highlighted by top-seeded West Florida (35-13) and second-seeded Tampa (35-7), along with Rollins, West Alabama and Delta State rounding out the top five.
