Charnstrom Garners CSC Second Team Academic All-American Honors

DETROIT -- Sophomore Olin Charnstrom (Oxford, Mich.) of the Wayne State University men's swimming and diving team was named to the Academic All-America Second Team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), as announed by the organization on Wednesday afternoon. Charnstrom is the fourth men's swimmer to be honored in as many seasons, which includes Trevor Jones (2023, 2024 and 2025), Luka Cvetko (2023) and Stewart Nowinski (2023). In fact, Charnstrom joins Jones, the program's lone three-time recipient, as the only male swimmers to have received this distinction as a sophomore in the previous 11 seasons.
