Women’s Lacrosse to Open Postseason Play at No. 15 Messiah

CHESTER, Pa. – Widener Women’s Lacrosse is headed back to the MAC Commonwealth Tournament after securing the fourth seed. The semifinal game is slated for Wednesday, Apr. 29 at 5 p.m. in Grantham Pa. against the No. 15 and top seeded Messiah Falcons. The Pride concluded the regular season with a 10-7 overall record and a 4-3 MAC Commonwealth record. The season showed an early 12-11 win over Swarthmore and a thrilling overtime 9-8 win against St. Mary’s of Maryland.
