Women’s Outdoor Track And Field Begins GLIAC Championships

ALLENDALE, Mich. -- The Wayne State University women's outdoor track and field squad began its 2026 GLIAC Championships on Wednesday afternoon with two competitors in the heptathlon. Through four events freshman Ella Hufnagel (Fowler, Mich.) is in second place with 2,675 points, trailing only Saginaw Valley's Natalie Formsma, who compiled 2,905 points. Senior Idalia Shadhaya is in 11th place with 2,292 points.
