Athletics Honors Student-Athletes at End-of-Year Ceremonies
HONOLULU – Chaminade University Athletics honored the accomplishments of its student-athletes Wednesday at the 16th Annual Athletic Awards Ceremony held on the university campus. All 12 intercollegiate programs recognized their student-athletes for Most Outstanding, Most Inspirational and Scholar-Athlete. Also honored were the 52 departing seniors among all 12 programs. Chris Mata of baseball was named the Male Athlete of the Year after finishing with a record-.409 batting average, posting two separate hitting streaks of 12 games or more.
