Bengtsson Wins SBC Medalist Honors; Men’s Golf Finishes As Runner-Up

MADISON, Miss. – Coastal Carolina senior Max Bengtsson captured individual medalist honors, while the Chanticleers finished runner-up at the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Men's Golf Championship on Thursday at Annandale Golf Club. Coastal Carolina earned the No. 1 seed for match play after finishing atop the 54-hole stroke play leaderboard at 14-under par, three shots clear of No. 2 seed Arkansas State.
