Lazaro Named to NEC All-Rookie Team

WEST HAVEN, Conn. -- The NEC announced its end-of-year tennis awards on Friday afternoon, featuring New Haven's Sofia Lázaro earning a spot on the All-Rookie Team. In its first year as an NEC member, New Haven saw Lázaro earn the program's first postseason honor. Lázaro helped the Blue & Gold to a 9-9 record across the fall and spring, which included wins over Merrimack and NEC foes Wagner, Stonehill, and Chicago State.
