RiverHawks Drop Pitcher’s Duel in Doubleheader Opener
CLAREMORE, Okla. — Northeastern State dropped the opening game of a doubleheader Saturday, falling 3-1 to Rogers State in MIAA softball action. The RiverHawks (27-22, 11-12 MIAA) were held without a hit in the contest and struck out 14 times against Rogers State pitching. Despite the offensive struggles, NSU remained within striking distance behind a strong performance from Jensyn Elder .
