Softball: Bailey Becomes All-Time Strikeout Leader, Choctaws Defeat Tigers
LIVINGSTON, Ala. — Mississippi College closed out the regular season Saturday with a 2-0 victory over West Alabama in the finale of a three-game Gulf South Conference series at University Field. Behind a dominant performance from senior pitcher Camryn Bailey and a timely swing from Blakely Gill, the Choctaws finished the regular season 29-21-1 overall and 19-14 in GSC play. Bailey (15-9) was outstanding in the circle, tossing a complete-game one-hitter. She allowed just one hit, one walk, and struck out six batters in the shutout effort.
